Lady in White (1988)
Written/Directed/Score Composed by Frank LaLoggia
This story centers on a budding young writer who after getting locked into the class coat closet by school bullies witnesses a death echo of a girl murdered at his school. The girl continues to haunt him as he discovers her story.
This is a very short summary since this movie has waaaay too many subplots. It’s a little long, the story is kind of all over the place, and the effects are straight out of the 1980s, but if you’re looking for a cute ghost story to watch with kids this is a good one. I do have to say that what it lacked in pacing it more than made up for in atmosphere. The way it evokes the feel of small town America in Autumn and the childhood fear and wonder of the supernatural is what made this one worth watching.
